講義�@「Art as Teaching Tool in the Digital Age」
　　　　　グラハム　児夢（文教大学）

　This discussion will be about the use of paintings, engravings, photographs and other images in providing opportunities for description, comparison and general expression in the English language classroom. In addition, we examine how old art can assume new life in an Internet-enabled era of “buzz.” Several serious issues are addressed without losing sight of the ultimate playful nature of the subject, concluding with a consideration of “bad art” and an exercise in reading images from the English-speaking world that were created for a public that lived nearly three centuries ago.

　私が今在学（留学）中のuniversity of Houstonは、NASAで有名なテキサス州ヒューストンにある、多様性が売りの州立大学です。そこで、私は大学院生としてビジネス（流通）を学ぶ傍ら、student athlete として、あのカールルイスにコーチを度々受けています。
　現在進行中ではありますが、英語、アメリカの大学、陸上に関する情報を皆さんとシェアしたいと思います。


講義�B「Creating a culture of collaboration in a language classroom」

　In this workshop, we will discuss and explore how to work together with someone in order to become a better teacher in your own way: two people collaborate in order to allow one person to work on his or her self-development. The lecturer will start by providing the theoretical background of collaborative learning and introduce some basic concepts. You will also have plenty of opportunities to reflect on your own teaching and try various classroom techniques.
