講義�@「ことばを面白がる英文読解」

　英語を学ぶ目的として、英語を使えるようになることだけでなく、「ことばの面白さを体験する」ということも挙げられると思います。ここでは、主として英語の ナンセンス文学やジョークを題材にとりあげ、英語と日本語それぞれの特性を意識しながら、ことばで遊びことばに遊ばれる体験を通して、「読む（解釈す る）」とはどのような行為なのかを考えていきます。


講義�A「Article use by Japanese L2 learners:
　　　　　　Types of problems and possible explanations」
　　　　　　Neal Snape（群馬県立女子大学）

For Japanese learners of English, articles (the & a) in English are notoriously difficult to acquire. Even at advanced levels of proficiency, Japanese speakers continue to experience problems with selecting the appropriate article to use in speech, writing and have trouble hearing (perceiving) articles. But, why is it so difficult in comparison with acquiring other morphology in English like possessive -s, for example? This lecture looks at some of the typical types of problems Japanese learners have with articles and tries to provide some possible explanations. Anyone who has ever experienced such difficulties will hopefully find this lecture interesting and useful and may even help you overcome some of your own typical article errors.


講義�B「英語授業の組み立てと評価」
　　　　　新里　眞男（語学教育研究所）

　新学習指導要領による授業が中学校では昨年度から、高校では今年度から始まった。それと呼応して「Can-Doリスト」の形での学習到達目標設定による指導の方針が示された。これらを日々の授業の中でどのように具体化していったらよいだろうか。例えば、課全体の目標の設定方法、それに応じた毎授業の組み立て方、そして、実際の授業の運営方法、さらには、どんな評価活動を行うべきか。これらについて考えたい。
