Introduction

The Bunkyo University Foundation is an academic group with five campuses. The headquarters is located at the Hatanodai campus in Tokyo¡Çs Shinagawa Ward. There are three schools attached to the university - a kindergarten, a junior high school and a senior high school. Including the student enrollment of our kindergarten, there are 1,509 students attending these schools.

Koshigaya campus

The Koshigaya campus, located in Koshigaya City, Saitama Prefecture, consists of the Faculty of Education, the Faculty of Human Sciences, the Faculty of Language and Literature, the Graduate School of Human Sciences (Master¡Çs & Doctoral program), the Graduate School of Language and Culture (Master¡Çs & Doctoral program), the Graduate School of Education (Master¡Çs program), the Special Postgraduate Course and the Foreign Student Department. 4,758 students are enrolled in the Koshigaya campus.

In the Shonan campus in Chigasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture, 1,648 students are enrolled. The campus comprises the Faculty of Information and Communications, the Faculty of Health and Nutrition, the Graduate School of Information and Communications (Master¡Çs program).
There are currently 1,880 students enrolled and studying at our Tokyo Adachi campus in Tokyo¡Çs Adachi Ward. The campus is home to the Faculty of International Studies, the Faculty of Business Administration, and the Graduate School of International Studies (Master¡Çs program), as well as the Secretarial Department of the university. 

Shonan campus

In the Ishikawadai campus in Tokyo¡Çs Ota Ward, an elementary school where 332 students are enrolled is also attached to the Bunkyo University.

The teaching staff of the Bunkyo University Foundation are devoted to providing personalized education, and thus understand the needs of each and every student at all levels of schooling.

In light of the rapid speed of internationalization of Japanese society, the junior high school, the senior high school and the university have academic affiliation agreements with educational institutions in countries such as Australia, Canada, China, Germany, Indonesia, Ireland, Malaysia, Malta, Mongolia, New Zealand, the Philippines, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, the United States, and Vietnam. Under these agreements, most of our partner schools and international institutions have promoted intercultural exchanges between students, including exchange programs in which students from Bunkyo and foreign universities study at each other¡Çs universities.

The Bunkyo University Foundation has stepped up its efforts to deepen the relationship between its schools and has striven to offer education in a manner that would increase the satisfaction of all students. Graduates of the Bunkyo University Foundation have been playing major roles in various communities and have received high acclaim for their contributions and achievements in society.

The Bunkyo University Foundation is resolved to serve the interest of society by providing education aimed at promoting the foundation for the global age, which is “Empathy for All Humanity.”
