About Applications

Applicants must meet all the following four requirements

  1. Possess a nationality other than Japanese.
  2. Those who have completed the 12th year of a legitimate school education. Alternatively, persons who meet any of the following criteria.
    • Spring semester enrollment (April): Those who are expected to graduate from high school by the end of March 2027
    • Fall semester enrollment (September): Those who are expected to graduate from high school by the end of July 2027
  3. Those who can demonstrate their level of Japanese language proficiency at the time of application by any of the following means: (*1)

  4. Those who have an advisor in Japan.

*Advisor:

A person who will assist the applicant from application procedure to his/her life in Japan. The applicant's sponsor, family, relative, or acquaintance may become his/her advisor as long as all the following requirements are fulfilled.
  1. A resident of Japan who is able to speak Japanese, regardless of nationality. (In general, students not accepted.)
  2. Will complete all the application and admission procedure, and if any, other required procedure on behalf of the applicant.
  3. Knows the applicant well personally and officially
  4. Will advise or counsel the applicant regarding problems in his/her life after his/her admission is approved.
  • *Your application may not be accepted if the University decides that it is inappropriate for one advisor to simultaneously advise multiple applicants, or if the advisor is deemed otherwise inappropriate.

<Installment payment of the tuition>

Spring semester Admission
(April)
Pay half of the tuition and training fee at the time of admission procedures, and the rest of the tuition by the end of September.
Fall semester Admission
(September)
Pay one-third of tuition fee during each of the following periods.
When completing the enrollment procedure, by the end of April in the following year and by the end of September in the following year
Be sure to pay the training fee alongside the tuition fee by the end of April in the following year.

Q&Aabout admissions

I don't have an advisor in Japan. Can I still apply?
Unfortunately, you cannot apply to the course if you do not have an advisor in Japan. Conditions apply to those who would like to act as advisors. Please see notes in section 3 on page 4 of the application form.
Do I need to submit proof of funds for the past year?
Yes, you do. Please prepare all the documents listed on page 6 of the application form. If the certificates cannot be issued because of the situation in your country, please contact us through your advisor for further guidance.
